About

The Nanterre-Amandiers Theatre was established by Pierre Debauche in 1971 and later taken over by Raoul Sangla, Patrice Chéreau and Catherine Tasca, Jean-Pierre Vincent, and since 2001 by Jean-Louis Martinelli. It is regarded as a highly renowned French National Centre for Dramatic Art and is viewed by many as one of the most important foundations for the developement of contemporary theatre in France.
