Nature Politics is an interactive lecture towards a new approach to human relationship with nature. With a little ’help’ by sociologist Bruno Latour and anthropologist Philippe Descola, the artists are opposing an anthropocentric world view, finding arguments through an immediate implementation of a nature parliament, which they try out with the audience and the present nature. They also present a long-term collaboration contract, that they negotiated and ultimately signed by the both of them and nature. It regulates equal authorship and payment but also covers ethical concerns. Finally they come up with an idea for an activist movement, or rather: a global movement of ‚active passivism‘ by featuring a global network of territories that are free of humans.
