Grammaire étrangère (récital poétique)
Following last season’s cycle of talks on the theme of “work”, performance group Grand Magasin now invites us to join them in a new program, in three phases. Glimpsing grammar in every fragment of language, stumbling over it in every sentence, following the meanderings of syntax, marvelling at the twinkle of prepositions, exploring the tenses of verbs, and moving adjectives around, they come to the fundamental questions: how can I say what I think? How can I think what I say? Pascale Murtin and François Hiffler set out alone to explore and discover their mother tongue: they will travel up and down it as if visiting a foreign country. To assist them in their investigation, they will call upon one or two distinguished guests during each of the three public events.
